My name is Mrs. LaTosha Diane Phillips.
​
I am married to my husband David Phillips, and we have a 12 year old daughter, Jayden. With the support and love of my family and with God's grace and blessings I have completed this program.
​
My journey as a nurse began in 1991 when I witnessed the birth of my sister. My first job in healthcare was in 1999 as a "Dining Room Watcher" at a nursing home. I went on to graduate from Walter State Community College with my Associates degree in 2004. I received my Bachelors degree from the University of Tennessee in 2013.
​
As a child I always played nurse or teacher. Now that I have been a nurse for thirteen years, and have been at the bedside since I was 19 years old I want to give back to the nursing profession by training and mentoring our next generation of nurses.
